ChildLinks
Provides parents free child care referrals and Resource Lending Library memberships. The lending library offers books for parents and children and developmentally appropriate toys for ages birth to five. For more information contact ChildLinks at 252.758.8885 (Pitt) or 252.792.9840 (Martin).
Child Care Subsidy
Assists eligible families with child care expenses through a subsidy available at the Department of Social Services. For more information contact Martin County DSS at 252.809.6403 or Pitt County DSS at 252.902.1164.
Family and Community Resource
Offers parents early childhood information and resources through newsletters, parenting workshops, ChildLink's Resource Lending Library, local festivals and events. For more information contact the Martin/Pitt Partnership for Children at 252.756.1567.
Nurse Family Partnership
Nurse-Family Partnership's maternal health program introduces vulnerable first-time parents to caring maternal and child health nurses. This program allows nurses to deliver the support first-time moms need to have a healthy pregnancy, become knowledgeable and responsible parents, and provide their babies with the best possible start in life. The relationship between mother and nurse provides the foundation for strong families, and lives are forever changed – for the better. Parents as Teachers
